Better now than never

I have always loved this look

The black blazer is a staple, a must have.  I have a velvet blazer, but I could only wear it during the cold months. It has only taken me until 2011, but I finally bought one I could wear year round.

I bought the BB Dakota Hector Blazer ~ find it at Next Door. While your there pair it with this Hazel Crystal Tank.

Good rules to follow for the Classic Blazer look

Always roll up the sleeves! There are some blazers that have fantastic linings. Show them off with one or two rolls of the sleeves. Takes away the preppiness of this look. Whether you choose over sized or fitted, this jacket will last you through every season.

WEAR IT WITH~

A short or long evening dress: Looks good and keeps you warm when you head out for some fun wearing little dress, day or night.

Boyfriend jeans: Add a pair of strappy heels for evening flair or ballet flats for casual cool.

Layered Tops: Try a tank with a three-quarter-length sleeve overtop with your boyfriend blazer makes for a chic and temperature friendly option this Spring.

The Classic White Blouse: Nothing is more classic than a crisp white blouse

Necklaces:
Gold, silver, layered, simple bezel set stone…chunky, beaded, or sparkly. Any of these choices will be a hit.

Scarves: Any color, pattern, style, and texture of scarf . Wind a long scarf around your neck for a perfect on the go look. Check out our huge scarf selection at Next Door!
Bangeled Bracelets:
Since you’ve rolled up those sleeves, play up your wrist. Mix thin and thick gold bangles together, or throw on one chunky wrist cuff.

                     For your viewing pleasure.

You get the idea. It's not reinventing the wheel, it's keeping it simple.  A few more of the Hector blazers are still in stock, stop on by.

Good night....JR
